Q-Metrx has qEEG reports starting at $150 with 48 hour turn-around.
The Q-Metrx reports
integrate information about patient history and symptoms, findings in the clinical EEG, and results of quantitative analyses.
Integration of these types of information provides a comprehensive evaluation of individual brain electrical activity and
how this relates to neuropsychological issues and patient history. Reports are customized for each individual with pictures
of significant EEG abnormalities included in individual reports. We have extensive experience with effects of medication
on EEG, brain maturation, and patterns of brain-behavior relationships. In addition, the pre vs. post type report can
be used to assess effects of interventions on brain function, including medication, neurofeedback, as well as special educational
and psychotherapy. Q-Metrx uses the latest
tools for analysis of brain electrical activity, including NeuroGuide and the NeuroGuide reference database, the NxLink database,
and Brain Vision Analyzer, NeuroScan, WinEEG, and Hudspeth’s Multivariate Connectivity analysis software. We can provide
simple printouts from these analysis programs or full interpretative reports. In addition, we can make recommendations
for specific neurofeedback protocols based on integrating neurologist EEG reports, qEEG findings, and related patient information.

The qEEG analysis and reporting services provided by Q-Metrx, Inc. rely on the extensive
experience of specially trained EEG technologists and professional staff, including Jack Johnstone, Ph.D. who supervises the
operation and a panel of neurologists who are all affiliated with the UCLA Department of Neurology. Dr. Johnstone is currently
also faculty in the Department of Psychology at UCLA and has over 35 years experience with EEG and qEEG, and has reviewed
many thousands of qEEG studies. He has published and lectured widely on these and related topics. The neurologists inspect
the EEG recording and provide standard clinical EEG reports identifying transients and other clinical abnormalities. Jason
Soss, M.D. is an epileptologist and researcher. Ronald Saul, M.D. has special interests in head trauma, dementia, and
neuropsychiatric disorders. Roger Bertoldi, M.D. specializes in personal injury and workers’ compensation cases.
These neurologists also review the quantitative analyses provided in the Q-Metrx reports in conjunction with Dr. Johnstone.
